The collaboration
From day one, Parlour O has been a space that champions local artists and the creative talent around us.
The Parlour O Artist Series is that vision brought to life.
What makes this collection extra special is that all five of our artists, Madi Young, Kelsie Rose Davis, Sophie Corks, Carina Chambers and Kayla Henley, are also long-standing Parlour O clients. Over the years we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know these women, watching their creative businesses grow and admiring their work. Bringing their art into the salon this way means a lot to us.
Each artist has contributed one of their designs, transformed into a limited-edition scrunchie: wearable art, in five distinctive styles.
We’re so proud of this collaboration and the opportunity to celebrate the creativity that exists right here in our community.

About the artist
Self-taught and working mostly in acrylic and oil, Kayla creates bright, playful patterns designed to bring a little more happiness into your day. Her paintings are full of personality, energy and unexpected colour combinations.
Poppy Patch captures that spirit in a scrunchie that’s anything but ordinary.

About the artist
Painting from her studio on a farm near Orange, Carina draws on the landscapes, light and rhythms of country life. Her textured, nature-led work captures the Australian countryside in a style all her own.
Peachy brings a piece of that world to a limited-edition scrunchie, made to be worn and loved.

About the artist
Sophie’s paintings are inspired by regional Australia, childhood memories and the small, familiar moments we often overlook. With a love of colour and nostalgia, she captures them with a fresh, happy perspective.
Featuring a flock of Sophie’s cockatoos, Morning Chorus is a nod to the cheeky, noisy wake-up call every country kid knows. It’s a little burst of creativity for your everyday.
