Parlour O began as a shared vision between friends and Orange locals, Sally Dowling and
Julia Homard.

Before opening the salon, Sally was a long-time client of Julia’s at her Sydney salon – J-Salon – in Sydney’s east. When Sally relocated from Sydney to Orange, she saw an opportunity and floated the idea to Julia that they create something together. And so, Parlour O was born.

Together, they set out to create a space that felt warm, welcoming and elevated. Where both new and familiar faces could feel instantly at ease while experiencing exceptional hair.

Today, Sally leads the day-to-day running of the salon, bringing her passion for people, experience and strong sense of culture to everything she does. Julia’s creative direction continues to shape the salon’s standard, with a focus on hair, education and ongoing team development.

With a growing team of talented stylists, Parlour O is known for its balance of experience, energy and care. Every appointment is delivered in a space that feels relaxed, considered and refined, using only the highest quality products and tools.

OUR SALON

Located in the beautiful Central Western NSW town of Orange, Parlour O opened its doors mid 2022, and while still new, we have experience and care at our core.

Our team boasts experience from near and far, and we promise beautiful results, backed up by kindness and joy, so you can leave feeling your best self, time and time again.

Our aim is to create a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable to be yourself, and to connect and share with others in our community.

Our salon brings hair, beauty, treatments, make-up, training and events under one roof, and we’re licensed as well, showcasing the best food and wine the region has to offer.

Julia Homard

Creative Director & Co-Owner

Jules has been hairdressing for 20 years. In addition to being the co-owner of Parlour O, Jules own’s J-Salon in Paddington.

Jules is passionate about training, education and up-skilling not only her own team but for the wider Central West Community. Parlour O regularly host visiting educators, allowing everyone to learn the latest techniques, products and trends.

Jules and her husband Chris have recently moved to the Central West, and are enjoying living the quite life with their pups.

Sally Dowling

Business Director & Co-Owner

Sally is often the first smiling face you see as you walk into Parlour O. With a background in advertising and business marketing, Sal’s experience and passion will lead the day-to-day running and operational side of Parlour O.

Originally Sydney, Sal and her husband Stu along with their 3 boys now call a little farm on the outskirts of Orange home.
